Amelia Island is one of our absolute favorite places to be. We love that it’s a bit more laid back than other beach towns, but there is still so much to do and discover here.
Below, you will find arrival information, rules, amenities, and instructions on where everything is located both in this unit and on the Fernandina Shores property. We’ve also listed our favorite (and highly recommended!) things to do, eat and see while you are here along with detailed check out instructions.

If you’d like to change the door code to a 3-6 digit code you’ll easily remember, type in the 10-digit access code provided to you, press the SCHLAGE button, type in your desired 3-6 digit code, and press SCHLAGE again.

Please don’t use towels to remove makeup/facial products – use wipes provided in the upstairs bathroom.
Parties and events are not allowed
No pets or smoking allowed inside or outside – strictly enforced

Use your personal access code, sent via e-mail/booking platform to enter the front door. Be sure to push SCHLAGE and turn the deadbolt firmly to the LEFT to lock the door any time you leave. Note that your access code expires at check out time!
Our unit comes with one reserved parking space labeled 6353. There are also visitor spots, but they are first come, first serve and not guaranteed to be available.

The living room and primary bedroom both have cable and streaming services and the queen bedroom has streaming services only. Please refer to the rental information guide in our unit for detailed instructions on how to use them.

Remove the water reservoir in the back of the machine, fill with tap water and replace. Lift the handle up, place a coffee pod inside and push the handle down to close. Place a mug on the machine, press the cup size you’d like then the big button to brew. Note: ONLY use a plastic cup if making iced coffee!!

The washer & dryer are located in the downstairs bathroom. Before doing any laundry, please shake off all sand to keep the washer and dryer in good condition. Please use only HE detergent for the washing machine, which we provide for all guests, and clean the lint trap from the dryer after each use.

The community dumpster is located next to the pool/tennis area. Please bag all trash.

The community pool is located behind our unit. Exit via the back patio, turn right and you will see the pool area down the street on your left. Use the sidewalk just past the pool to get to the gate and enter the code 8743.
There is a tennis court located right next to the pool – no code needed to get in.

Get to the beach by walking out the front door and going to the left. Beach access 6N is straight ahead! Beach chairs and an umbrella are stored on the back patio. We also provide a beach cart to easily take your items to the beach. Beach towels are in the small downstairs bathroom closet.
Check out is at 10am.
Please note that check-out time is firm to give our cleaning staff adequate time to get ready for the next guest. Your access code will expire at check out. Please make sure all property items are left (remotes, beach chairs, towels, etc.), or you will be charged to replace them. Thanks for helping take care of this property! We greatly appreciate it – we worked hard to make this a beautiful place to visit, both for you and for our next guests!
